My Story

Nice to meet you! I'm so glad you're here. I'm Nil Alban, a calligraphy artist in the outskirts of London, UK. If you follow me on instagram, you would have probably noticed my obsession with my four sweet little rabbits that I absolutely adore. When I'm not spending time with them, I'm running my small business, Wish Upon A Calligraphy.

Shockingly, calligraphy didn't come into the picture until after being in the education industry for 12 years. The last two years of working with children, I was also moonlighting as a calligrapher. It has definitely been a journey of ups and downs, but in the end, turned into a full-time business that I'm absolutely passionate about.

As a calligrapher, I'm mostly known for my modern and romantic style that I transfer onto beautiful products, each individually handwritten by yours truly, and bringing a touch of elegance. Worked with many couples over the years, bringing delicate wedding stationery for their special day. As well as diving into the wedding calligraphy industry, I also offer my services as an event calligrapher doing live on-site calligraphy for corporate events and high brands.

I love to share my passion for calligraphy with our thoughtfully curated calligraphy starter kits and look forward to potentially offering calligraphy workshops in the near future.
